WINTER HOLIDAY PARTY - DECEMBER 3, 2016
WOW! Our December 3, 2016 Holiday Party beat even our highest level of expectations, with a record number of attendees, each dressed “to the nines”. Not only were we all treated to a great evening of spending time with our friends and fellow club members, but that was only the beginning. The table decorations could have earned a place on a magazine cover – thanks to Donna Cook and her creative team. The food, provided by “Flavor Chef Catering”, was equal to dining in your favorite restaurant. The food, service and attention to detail were second to none.
Music by “Sundance” really set the mood for the entire evening. Holiday carols during dinner followed by a great variety of musical selections – fast, slow and in between.
Fresh from touring around the world, Jason Thompson not only performed for us as himself, but as Dame Edna as well. She (Jason as Dame Edna) encouraged several of our club members to join him for a dance contest and all of Oceanside could hear the laughter, only imagining the fun we were having.
None of this happens without hours of preparation by many, many volunteers who graciously donate their time to make this the most memorable evening of the year. Every team needs a good, talented and dedicated leader, who, along with the supporting cast, makes it happen. The Wine Tasting Club Executive Board provided just that. President Sondra Peppe, supported by Vice President Gloria Young, Secretary Donna Misterly and Treasurer Mike Badovinac, made it happen all year for our club. Along with the Group Coordinators and the legions of volunteers, the club is looking forward to another great year in 2017

Club Notes - Coming in 2017
Another year, another opportunity to meet, socialize, laugh, make new friends and enjoy fun wines and taste special beers. That's what we do and we're good at it!!!!
The Executive Board (incoming President Bruce, Vice- President Gloria, Secretary Donna and Treasurer Mike) will be making plans for another exciting year, filled with monthly group tastings, special get-togethers and two big parties.

The Beer Group is automatically available to any Wine Tasting Club member even if you are in one of the wine tasting groups.This affords members the opportunity to enjoy both wine and beer - all within the confines of The Wine Tasting Club.
